Mike Rogers, MI-08, issued the following statement today after U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab announced that the World Trade Organization (WTO) had found that China is in violation of international trade law with its unfair treatment of U.S. auto parts. Rogers has been advocating for more aggressive action by the U.S. to keep China from taking unfair advantage of U.S. workers and employers. He has been leading the fight to hire more “trade cops” to monitor and report unfair trade practices in China, especially focusing on Chinese counterfeiting of auto parts.
